The University of British Columbia VP Research and International office has rolled out a new website that shines a spotlight on UBC’s accomplishments as a global research player, and focuses strongly on research excellence, innovation and impact, and international engagement. The Brain Behaviour Lab is featured as one example of the research excellence at UBC. The lab is staffed with a multidisciplinary team and is successfully curbing the effects of stroke through early intervention and innovative treatments that stimulate healthy parts of the brain to take over lost functions.
